With competition season just around the corner we've been learning all about the ultimate show ring skill… applying Quarter Marks!
In essence quarter marks are about creating an illusion. Usually seen in the show ring or dressage arena they're used to show off your horses muscle tone and conformation (while detracting from any flaws).
The key to creating perfect quarter marks is to ensure that your horses is SUPER CLEAN- in this case just his hind quarters !
Bring your horse, learn, and take home a brush set, quarter mark spray, and diagram of patterns you can do on your own!
Please bring your own body brush. Your horse should have as clean of a rump as possible to really make your quarter marks pop!
All paid participants receive a take home brush & quarter mark spray package.
Organizer Notes
Please have your horse clean to get the most benefit from the activity.
We will be working in the outside arena, so a horse that stands politely is best.
If weather is inclement, we will be in the indoor
Fly spray is hugely recommended
