Mounted Archery Clinic with Hilary Merrill

During this intensive two day clinic you will...
-go over range rules
-go over all equipment available and set everyone up for the weekend
-introduce thumb and three finger techniques
-learn to shoot with proper form
-learn to release with proper form
-learn blind nocking
-learn loading and practice shooting drills
-go over desensitizing your horses and check everyone's horses
-learn to track a target
-shooting at a walk and trot
No archery experience is necessary but you should be confident riding at a walk, trot, and canter.
The cost for this clinic is $350 which includes two full days of learning. You must be a member of the Mounted Archery Association of the Americas to participate (additional fee). This can be done by visiting mountedarchery.org
Bows, arrows, and targets are provided or bring your own (contact us for specific requirements). Trailer in your horse or we have a limited number of lesson horses available.

-Lunch is not provided so bring a lunch or plan to go out for lunch.
-No refunds at any time. If you need to cancel you are responsible for finding someone to fill your spot. We may be able to fill your spot from the waiting list but there are no guarantees.
-Negative coggins required for all horses trailering in

Administrative Information
Ride Time: Clinic will run from 9am until approximately 4pm each day. 
Trailer Direction: Trailer parking is available on the limestone track 
Change Policy: Changes are not permitted.
