Specializing in colt starting, problem horses, and producing safe horses, Monroe Miller has been working with horses his entire life. Monroe has worked with Buck Brannaman and blends together the classical, traditional, vaquero, and natural horsemanship teaching styles of Jeff Sanders, the Spanish Riding School, and others.

Monroe is based out of the 93-acre Hidden View Ranch in Fresno, Ohio, where he breeds quality Quarter Horses for soundness as well as quiet and gentle dispositions. Monroe has produced over a thousand horses to be soft, supple, and safe partners in all varieties of careers from trail horses to performance/competition horses.

The primary focus will be preparing riders and horses to become more emotionally fit to handle insecurities through patterns, bending, obstacles, and softening to gain confidence and partnership, whether you’re in the show ring or on trail.

The clinic will include both in-hand and under-saddle work with your horse. Each group will consist of 5 participants. If you have a rope halter, bring it. If not, some will be available for purchase on-site.

Helmets are recommended for adults, but mandatory for those under 18 years old.

When registering, it will ask you for a level to enter (selections will be Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced), please select your general level of riding experience.

Organizer Notes

**PLEASE READ:**
Lessons are going to be 5-person groups for 3 hours long, consisting of both in-hand and mounted work. Please bring a rope halter if you have one. If not, there will be some available for purchase on-site. There will be a morning session from 9:00-12:00, and an afternoon session from 1:00-4:00. Please let us know if you have any time restrictions and need to be in a certain group. We will accommodate as best we can.

No refunds unless the clinic is cancelled or your spot can be filled from the wait list.

All registration must come through Event Clinics, no paper entries. Entries will not be considered complete and a spot will not be held until payment is received.

Limited stabling available, priority for overnight stalls will be given to those coming from farther away. Contact Renea for information regarding overnight or day stabling.
Please be sure to include a current negative coggins, proof of vaccinations (flu/rhino at a minimum, within 6 months) and a signed liability release with your entry (uploaded on Event Clinics) or emailed to reneawillham17@gmail.com

In lieu of facility fee, riders are asked to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the local food bank to help those in need in our community.

Auditing is free, but we ask that you register ahead of time if possible, so we can get a rough head count. In lieu of charging for auditing, we are asking auditors to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the local food bank as well. If you forget or don't have time to go to the grocery store, a minimum $5 donation is suggested for auditing (collected at the clinic), with all proceeds from the auditing fees going straight to purchasing additional food items to be donated.

Please bring your own lunch.

We are open to accepting riders for 1 day only, but priority is given to those who wish to ride both days of the clinic. If you can only ride 1 day, please contact Renea for more information.
