With over 30 years of experience, Redha Gharsa is an internationally respected and knowledgable trainer and instructor. After earning an equestrian degree from a French Riding School in Algeria, Redha successfully competed with the National Grand Prix Show Jumping Team.
After moving to the US, Redha focused on training and teaching dressage through the FEI and Alta Escuela level and mastering the art of classical long lining. Redha was the Head Rider of the Lipizzaner Stallion Tour and the Head Trainer of Medieval Times and is now the Head Trainer of Pillars Equestrian Center in Waldorf, Maryland.
Redha continues to work with all levels of riders and breeds of horses to customize a training program that focuses on classical basics and correct communication for a strong foundation.
Redha's is a very interactive instructor. He never sits on the sidelines to teach but is walking with you inside the arena and doesn't hesitate to jump on your horse to help you and your horse understand what is needed to get the best out of each lesson!
