This series offers a supportive, low-pressure environment where riders of all ages can gain confidence, build skills, and learn correct competition practices without the cost or intensity of recognized events.

Courses, divisions, and scheduling are thoughtfully organized to mirror USEA rules and expectations, helping competitors understand how recognized events run—from dressage arenas and show jumping courses to cross-country flow and safety protocols. Riders can expect fair, educational courses that emphasize correct riding, horsemanship, and positive progression.

Whether you’re introducing a young horse, stepping up a level, or preparing for your first recognized horse trial, this series provides an affordable and approachable pathway to gain mileage and experience. Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where learning is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and every competitor leaves better prepared for future recognized competition—while still having fun along the way.
<rights type="text">Copyright 2026 Strider Pro</rights>

2026 Taproom Thursday Summer Schooling Evening at Waredaca (MD)

8/6/2026 - 8/6/2026 Waredaca, Laytonsville MD

Come out to Waredaca to enjoy our TAP ROOM THURSDAY Schooling Evenings Series!

This is a great opportunity for riders to gain confidence ahead of the weekend competition—get in the ring, familiarize yourself with the venue, and enjoy the show atmosphere, whether you’re preparing to compete or simply looking for quality schooling time on the grounds.

Check in at the office is required prior to entering the arena. Back numbers are required at all times while schooling.

Completed entries must be submitted through STRIDER by 5:00 PM on 8/5 (including rider waiver, coggins, and horse vaccine record), or an incomplete paperwork fee will apply.

Schooling is limited to 4 horses per time slot to prevent arena crowding.

Courses will remain set as is—there are no height reservations, so please be courteous of the shared space. Plan to bring a ground person if you need to make any adjustments.

Be sure to select the correct arena and time slot when booking, as space is limited for each, and only school at your assigned arena and time.

If you have any questions, please contact us at EqOffice@MorvenPark.org

Facility notes:
1. All riders must wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets while mounted.

2. All riders/exhibitors (including parents or legal guardians of those under 18), owners, trainers, their agents, and all related participants will be held responsible for any damage to the show grounds, including jumps, rails/poles, and/or Morven Park property.

3. There is no riding permitted outside of your assigned schooling area. Do not walk the grounds, ride in any fields, or along roadways. Lunging is permitted in the designated Bedford arena.

4. No stabling is available for the schooling day. To maintain biosecurity practices, no horse or human should enter the barns. Please bring your own supply of drinking water. The wash stalls outside of the barns closest to the parking lot may be used if needed.
<rights type="text">Copyright 2026 Strider Pro</rights>

Rolling Hills Ranch Jumper Show #4 (MD)

8/7/2026 - 8/7/2026 Rolling Hills Ranch, Port Deposit MD

A fun evening to show off your skills in a very low key atmosphere. Are you coming to the Windchase XC Derby on Aug 23 and want to practice? Or just want to have a cross-country school? Windchase Eventing is having a cross-country clinic with Phyllis Dawson on Sunday, August 16. Come Jumping!
Windchase’s excellent XC schooling course features a state of the art water complex, a bank jump, an Irish bank, a combination of mounds, and a coffin complex, as well as lots of room to gallop. We also have numerous corners, narrows and accuracy questions.

The cost will be $100 (For Windchase Boarders, it is $80) Please specify when you sign up if you have any time constraints. Ride times will be emailed out two days before the clinic.
Please make any changes or cancellations no later than three days before the clinic. Cancellations after closing date will incur a $30 cancellation fee.

We will have groups ranging from a very green elementary group for those wanting to stick to small jumps, up to Preliminary. There will be 3 to 5 riders in each group (usually 4). Sessions will run about an hour and a half. Please plan to be warmed up ready to jump at your appointed time.
All clinics are designed to be inviting and user-friendly. We will keep things very basic and inviting for the greener horses, and will incorporate some more creative elements for the higher groups as appropriate. Exercises can be adjusted within a group for each horse as needed. Nobody has to jump anything they don't want to!

We do protect our footing, so in the case of wet or muddy ground, we will cancel the XC clinic and hold Show Jumping sessions in the indoor for those who wish to do so. If we cancel the XC due to weather, you will have a choice of jumping indoors, or getting a full refund.

     Come Jumping!

Come join us on Saturday August 22 (The rain-date is Sunday August 23.)
Fun and informal, and a good school for you and your horse.
Ride individually or as pairs.
There are Prizes!
Excellent food will be available on grounds by C&C Grill.

The Windchase Cross-Country Derby course will run over our 100-acre-plus XC courses, going from field to field. Courses will be approximately 1.75 miles long. Participants may ride individually or in pairs.
Footing permitting, the course will include water, banks and ditches, as well as some foxhunting type obstacles. All courses designed to be confidence building and inviting, and you have the option of jumping fences a level lower or higher than your entered division. The Intro/Elem division will have small trot-over log options for all obstacles.

This is a unique chance to ride over the beautiful rolling hills of western Loudoun County, at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, while competing in a fun and informal atmosphere. What is unique about our XC course is that we have so much space; the course will be run from field to field, and be approximately 1.75 miles long. For those who don’t want to walk that far, we will take people around the course by vehicle the afternoon before and in the morning before the derby starts.

We will have divisions for Pairs, where two riders go out together (and hopefully come back together too!), as well as the regular individual classes.

Divisions:
Intro: Fences approximately 2 feet. Easy log-type options for all jumps. Speed 270 meters/minute. Starter/Elementary: Fences not to exceed 2’3, inviting and straightforward. Speed 300 meters/minute.
Beginner Novice: Blue numbers. Fences not to exceed 2’7. Speed 325 meters/minute.
Novice: Brown numbers. Fences not to exceed 2’11. Speed 375 meters/minute.
Training/Modified: Black numbers. Mostly Training, with a few options. Fences to 3’4. Speed 425 mm.
PAIRS – At each level. Two horse/rider combinations go out together. Pairs may be mixed levels - choose your jump heights, choose your optimum time target.

Classes judged on jumping penalties and closest to Optimum Time. In all divisions, you may choose to jump a lower or higher option at any fence. If you skip a fence altogether that is OK too, but a small time penalty will be added to your time. Lead horses will be available for the Intro/Elem and BN divisions.

Entries are $100 for pre-entries, or $120 for late or post entries.
Second rounds can be added, either in advance or on the day, for $45.
Payment for pre-entries must be received by the Wednesday before the Derby.
(A $20 office fee is due if you cancel after the closing date.)
Approximate ride times will be emailed out several days before the Derby.
Email Phyllis at pwindchase73@gmail.com if you have questions.

There will be prizes!
Come Jumping!

ASTM/SEI certified helmets and XC vests are required. Negative coggins within 12 months. A Windchase release form MUST be signed before you ride. Any riders under 18 must have their release form signed by a parent. Water is available on grounds. Excellent food will be available on grounds by C&C Grill.

Offering divisions from Leadline through Beginner Novice, these low-key evening events create a welcoming atmosphere that feels more like a community gathering than a traditional show.

Courses are thoughtfully set below maximum specifications, with an emphasis on safety, rideability, and positive learning experiences. Inviting questions and straightforward lines allow horses and riders to progress at their own pace while building confidence and correct fundamentals.

This series also embraces a strong social and educational vibe. Trainers are encouraged to be hands-on throughout the evening—coaching from the sidelines, walking courses with riders, and offering support as needed. Friends, family, and barnmates are welcome to stay, cheer each other on, and enjoy a fun Friday night at the barn where learning, horsemanship, and camaraderie take center stage.
<rights type="text">Copyright 2026 Strider Pro</rights>

Shawna Karrasch Clinic at Walnut Hill Farm (MA)

9/12/2026 - 9/13/2026 Walnut Hill Farm, PLAINVILLE MA

Come join us for an incredible two day clinic with Shawna Karrasch. The clinic will run from 9-5 both Saturday and Sunday. All hands on and riding portions will take place in our indoor arena which is fully insulated. Lecture, breakfast, and lunch will be in the heated tack room.

From her website: "Shawna is a pioneer in the use of Positive Reinforcement Training with horses. Her powerful and humane behavioral training techniques are an eye-opening experience for equine professionals, competitors, and amateurs alike. She has produced books and videos, and traveled worldwide to teach the concepts of bridge conditioning and positive reinforcement for horses.

Shawna began her training career far outside the equestrian world, working with large marine mammals. Animals such as dolphins, sea lions and orcas cannot be coerced. Only positive reinforcement methods can be used to ask these magnificent creatures to participate voluntarily in activities with human trainers. (You may be able to force a horse onto a trailer, but just try it with a walrus!)

When introduced to the world of top equestrian competition, Shawna saw immediately how reward-based training could be used to engage the horse’s willingness in equestrian pursuits. A number of years ago, top trainer John Madden was so impressed with Shawna’s early results that the world-renowned training facility at the Madden farm became the testing ground for adapting Positive Reinforcement Training for horses.

By using Shawna’s Positive Reinforcement Training methods, Olympian Beezie Madden taught her famous show jumper Judgment (now Judgment ISF) to overcome his fear of water and go on to win the $1,000,000 CN International at Spruce Meadows, among many other international show-jumping victories. Beezie’s spectacular success over decades as a top international competitor on a series of great horses is a testament not only to her extraordinary talent and skill as a rider and trainer, but also in part to the reward-based training system that Shawna first developed on the Madden farm.

Shawna’s infectious enthusiasm, sense of humor, years of training experience and rapport with animals and humans makes her one of the finest positive-reinforcement trainers in North America.

Same great prize list just one week earlier. See Strider here. https://www.striderpro.com/a/o4iPybccH0O3Up6HBBUVZA

We strongly recommend that you create a free Strider account rather than checking out as a guest to enter this show. Beverly entries require documents — your negative Coggins, vaccination info, and a signed Beverly Release — and most riders add these in stages, swap a class, add a horse, or update an entry after the first submission. Guest entries can't be edited or have documents attached after they're submitted. That means a guest entry often stays incomplete, and we can't process it per the prize list until everything's in. Riders who enter as guests frequently come back to upload a Coggins or change a class, only to find Strider won't let them. Our prize list is clear: if you later send your documents or changes directly to the show secretary, you'll be charged a $35 fee. Save yourself the headache and create an account to save your documents for this and future shows at Beverly.

For this series we will have a split venue format.
Hunters will be in the Wofford arena by the main barn.
Jumpers will be in the Grand Prix arena by the polo barns. There is stabling on both sides of the venue.
Classes 50, 51, and 52—our Poles, Cross Rails, and Small Verticals trio—will be in the indoor arena.

SCHEDULE
Check the current, dated schedule graphic (on the website, not the list of classes in numerical order in the prize list) for start times and order of go.

ENTRIES. ALL entries must be submitted online. Otherwise, all non-Strider, incomplete, or late entries are subject to a mandatory $35 administration fee (“Admin Fee”). The Closing Date for all entries is midnight on the Thursday before the show (“Closing Date”). Attach your negative coggins, vaccination information, and signed waiver ("Docs") electronically to your entry on Strider by the Closing Date; otherwise, an Admin Fee will apply. If you email your Docs to the show secretary to complete your entry before the Closing Date, an Admin Fee (for a non-Strider entry) will apply for non Strider entry information.

Health Requirement Update
All horses must provide proof of Flu/Rhino vaccination within the last 6 months to enter the grounds.
✔️ Vet receipt OR
✔️ United States Equestrian Federation vaccination form OR
✔️ A self-certification form. A link to the form is here and on the website

Beverly requires proof of vaccination for every horse on the grounds at every show, usually a vaccination certificate or a receipt from your vet listing the vaccines and dates. We know not everyone keeps these on hand, and we don't want that to keep you from competing. So for this show, you have a one-time option: complete the attached Vaccination & Health Self-Certification. Fill in your veterinarian's name and phone number, sign it, and bring it to the in-gate (or reply with it ahead of time). The late fee still applies, but with the signed form you're cleared to show. Please note that as with all personal documents, we cannot keep this information on file for you. Please create a Strider account to save this documentation to your entry and for future entries.

CHANGES. Changing classes on the day of the show incurs no change fees. DO NOT submit show-day class add/drops to the show secretary. If a class change results in a credit on the show day, it can be used towards other fees AT THAT SHOW. A same day show class credit does not result in a REFUND absent special circumstances, such as a class being canceled outside of show management’s control, and then, only upon email request to the show secretary at bevshowsec@gmail.com.

SCRATCHES. Entries must be scratched on Strider before the Closing Date to receive any refund. Any refunds after the Closing Date are subject to a $50 Late Scratch Fee per entry.

CREDITS: Credits are not automatic and must be requested by email (bevshowsec@gmail.com) within four (4) days after the show. Credits are valid only after the exhibitor receives written acknowledgement from the show office. To use an approved credit at a future show, exhibitors must email the show office with the acknowledgement at least two (2) days before the show’s closing date for registration instructions. Exhibitors must enter at least one class; approved credits may then be applied to additional eligible class fees as requested by the competitor. Any credit not used within one (1) year of the date of the original show will expire.

NON COMPETE HORSES. Noncompeting horses register as such on our Strider platform and pay the $30 non-compete horse fee. It is important that we have a release and a coggins on file for every horse on the property. Again, we appreciate your understanding as bio security and safety is our top concern.

POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION (“UNCONTROLLABLE EVENT”) POLICY. The Uncontrollable Event Policy applies only when conditions outside Beverly’s control (weather, air quality/wildfire smoke, other emergencies) cause Beverly to postpone or cancel a show or a portion of it. It does not apply to a rider who chooses not to attend a show held as scheduled. In an uncontrollable event case, entries will be honored on the next or rescheduled date. Any competitor unable to attend this date — or whose classes are not held — will receive a full-value credit toward a future Beverly local show, covering all fees paid (entry, office, grounds, and stall fees). Credits are issued automatically; no request is required, and they are valid for one year from the original show date. To use the credit, the competitor must have used a Strider account (not a guest account) to enter the affected show and must email the Show Secretary at bevshowsec@gmail.com at least two days before that show's Closing Date — no need to re-enter or pay again. If a competitor prefers, they may email the Show Secretary to request a refund instead; in an uncontrollable event situation, the $50 Late Scratch Fee is waived and stall fees are refunded in full, with only the $10 office fee retained.

Foxhunting is one of the most accessible and rewarding second careers for retired Thoroughbred racehorses, yet many riders are hesitant to try it because they are unfamiliar with the traditions, etiquette, and expectations of the hunt field.

This unique clinic begins with a "Reverse Tailgate"—bringing participants together before they ride to recreate the informal educational conversations that traditionally happen after a hunt. Riders will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn the customs and culture of foxhunting, and gain confidence before ever putting a foot in the stirrup.

The mounted portion then transitions into the field, where participants experience riding as a group in working hunt territory, practicing the skills and etiquette that prepare both horse and rider for a successful first day with the hunt.

About Natalie

Originally from England, Natalie Wales grew hunted with the Warwickshire and Heythrop Hunts before relocating to the United States 25 years ago. For the past 20 years, she has been an active member of Orange County Hounds, where she continues to enjoy the sport and the traditions of foxhunting.
Natalie owns and operates a boarding and training business specializing in producing versatile horses for the hunt field and beyond. With extensive experience starting young horses, retraining off-the-track Thoroughbreds, and developing horses.
Her passion for Thoroughbreds also led her to establish a nonprofit dedicated to retraining and rehoming retired racehorses. By introducing many of these horses to foxhunting and other second careers, she has helped demonstrate the breed’s athleticism, soundness, and exceptional suitability for life beyond the racetrack.

OTTB ReStart Clinic Series at Great Meadow

The goal of the program is to showcase best practices in Thoroughbred retraining and highlight the versatility of these horses across disciplines. This clinic focuses on developing OTTBs from foundational work through the demands of a horse show environment. Under professional instruction, riders and their horses will learn through the lens of a top-level professional, with an emphasis on understanding and navigating the unique complexities of working with OTTBs.

This clinic is supported by a grant through the Virginia Horse Industry Board.
<rights type="text">Copyright 2026 Strider Pro</rights>

LandSafe Clinic- Delmarva Region Pony Club (Open to Public) (MD)

8/29/2026 - 8/30/2026 The Walls Building at Fair Hill, Elkton MD

CLINIC DATE: August 29th-August 30th 2026

LandSafe is an unmounted 2 day (approx. 4 hrs per day) training program designed to teach the best practices of fall prevention and response. The curriculum relies on one-on-one interaction as well as group learning. Martin Douzant is a popular young horse trainer that works extensively with event and jump horses. When he is not training or competing young horses, he is routinely found at the USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) Championships as the designated jump chute horse handler. Based out of Brook Hill Farm in Middleburg, Virginia, Martin has a positive teaching style and has extensive experience with green horses and riders. This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the best in the sport!

Using a jump chute is the ideal introduction to jumping for young horses, OTTB's coming off the track, or to work through issues with experienced jumpers.
All you need to bring is your horse in a halter (or bridle if you prefer) and your phone/camera to get great pictures and video.

Martin's approach emphasizes a clear and consistent framework for young horse development ground in the European method. Originally from France, he has earned France’s official BEES First Degree certification, the essential French riding instructor certification.

“When you watch horses free jump and do gymnastics you see that each has their own style… they prepare their balance in their own way. The goal of a jump chute is to guide horses is learning how to use their bodies...and enable them to progress mentally and physically in a positive way."

BCHP Schooling Dressage Show (PA)

9/12/2026 - 9/12/2026 Bucks County Horse Park , Revere PA

This show is perfect for green horses and riders.

NEW DATE Beverly Hunter Jumper Show - September 12 (VA)

9/12/2026 - 9/12/2026 Beverly Equestrian, The Plains VA

Friday Ticketed Schooling & Stabling Promo: Reserve Friday ticketed schooling and a weekend stall for only $195 (#4500 on Strider). See details below in the Stabling Information section.

Fix-A-Test at Glory Days Farm (VA)

9/20/2026 - 9/20/2026 Glory Days Farm, Berryville VA

Kick Off Your 2026 Show Season at Glory Days Farm’s Dressage Fix A Test Day!

LandSafe is an unmounted 2 day (approx. 4 hrs per day) training program designed to teach the best practices of fall prevention and response. The curriculum relies on one-on-one interaction as well as group learning. Riders receive ample time on the gym mats where they will learn body shaping drills and exercises to reduce their rider risk in a fall scenario. On the simulator throughout the two days participants will practice a rotational fall, a rear, off the shoulder and emergency dismount.

The September 26th/27th, 2026 schooling horse trials hosted by KDCTA and CTP Equestrian is aimed to provide a fun, relaxed format three-phase event at an introductory level. The mission is to provide the opportunity to give eventing a try, even for riders and horses brand new to the sport. As such, the jumping at all levels will remain very introductory to each level. Most jumps will be below maximum height, set up in a positive and simplistic way. Our hope is to attract riders out there who have wanted to give eventing a try, and are looking to do so in a low-key, inviting way. Dressage will be held on Saturday September 26th at the Grange Fair Grounds. This time schedule is subject to change depending on number and type of entries and there is flexibility and a possibility of Friday evening for the workshop and maybe even a lesson. Message for options.

Cost is $250 for the workshop, and two lessons. If your horse is fit enough and you want to do 3 lessons, that would be an extra fee of $75. If you want to do private lessons, there is an additional fee of $50/lesson. Either of these options depends on how full the clinic is. Folks who don't jump may do flatwork only lessons. You may attend the workshop and audit the riding lessons for $75. Auditing just the riding portions is $25 and everyone is welcome but please sign releases and know you are a participant even if you aren't on a horse.

Please note that there is an additional $50 grounds fee at WinGreen; you are responsible for paying this on your own.

Entries close at noon on Wednesday, Sept 23. You must have signup, releases, coggins info and payment in by then. I may still be able to squeeze you in after closing date but you will have to fit into the existing schedule.

If you've entered early, you may cancel for a full refund before the closing date - please enter early so I know your intentions. If you need to cancel for anything other than a true emergency after closing date, I will still have to charge $100 to cover my costs.
