Join us for a two day clinic hosting Maya Clarkson! Saturday will be dressage focussed, and Sunday will have the option of dressage or Jumping. If a selection is filled reach out to Karli to see if you can get added in somewhere or be put on a waitlist!
Maya Clarkson is a 4* event rider who runs her training, sales, and teaching business out of Middleburg, Virginia. Maya grew up riding in Santa Cruz, California and moved to Germany at age 19 where she spent a year as the head rider for Peter Weinberg, chef de equipe of the Belgian showjumping team. She was then recruited for the University of South Carolina’s D1 equestrian team and during her time there was named to the All - SEC First team. In the discipline of eventing Maya was a team and individual gold medalist at the Young Rider Championships and has multiple top finishes at the 3* and 4* level. Maya recently received the Wilton Fair Grant from the USEA Foundation, which will allow her to bring a string of horses to Europe in June of this year to train and compete overseas.
Maya enjoys producing young horses and developing students of all levels. Her training philosophies are backed by natural horsemanship gained through her time spent learning from Lauren Nicholson and David O’Connor.
