The Bred to Event Classic Hosted by Loch Moy Farm Final Qualifier is September 12 with the Championships on September 13th - 14th

JUDGES

September Championship - Phyllis Dawson and Stephen Bradley
**Each Judge at the championship will judge separately and the scores will then be averaged together

The Bred to Event Classic is hosted by Loch Moy Farm, in combination with Maryland International Equestrian Foundation. It is a competition dedicated to the breeding of event-bred horses. This classic championship will be an opportunity for breeders and owners alike to showcase their decision-making and horsemanship with the young horses they show.

With the news that the Future Event Horse program is no longer facilitated by USEA, Bred to Event Classic will further support the dedicated breeders and competitors that Loch Moy Farm has hosted at East Coast Future Event Horse Championships for 10 years.

There will be qualifiers and championships for yearlings through 5-year-olds. Robin Walker, Helen Brettell, Susan Graham White, Cathy Slaterbeck, Stephen Bradley, Kim Severson, Phyllis Dawson and Cindy Anderson-Blank are among the seasoned judges and designers of this special event championship. This is intended to be a competition dedicated to the young horse.

For the Championship in September there will be special awards for Maryland Bred horses, TB horses, and prize money will be split between Breeders/Owners, and Riders. Prize Money will be distributed among the divisions based on entry numbers.
Winners of the yearling through 3-year-old competition will automatically be given a free entry for 2025 Bred to Event Classic. Winning horses of the 4 and 5-year-old competition will be given an annual entry for 3 years into the Maryland Horse Trials recognized events.

*Your entry fee includes a professional team of handlers in the jump chute. You do not need to bring your own handler. Yearlings and two year old will not receive a handler as they do not compete in the jump chute
**Entry fee's have increased due to an increase in handler & judging costs
***After final closing, any class that has less than 3 entries will not be ran. The 2 or less entries in the class will be refunded
