Equine Industry Careers: A Professional Development Panel from STRIDER | August 30, 2022 @ 7:00pm EST

STRIDER's popular Professional Development Series continues with Equine Industry Careers on August 30, 2022. This interactive panel discussion will feature insights from Alexandra Cherubini, founder and CEO of EquiFit, international photographer Erin Gilmore, and Olympic Groom Max Corcoran, who was recently named USEF Eventing Elite Program and Team Facilitator.

👤Alexandra Cherubini is the Founder and President of EquiFit, inc., a Massachusetts-based company which designs and manufactures technologically advanced products for top riders and horses throughout the world.

Alexandra Cherubini graduated from Bates College, and shortly after she sought a way to combine her career with her love of horseback riding. Within a few months, EquiFit’s first product was born: ShouldersBack™. ShouldersBack is now being marketed to riders as well as non-riders, through HSN and health and beauty outlets, and was featured in an exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in recognition of its outstanding function and design. The success of the product encouraged Alexandra to develop a line of products for the equine and equestrian based on a material called T-Foam™, a shock-absorbing material that conforms to each horse’s body for a custom fit, every time.

👤 Max Corcoran is the current President of the United States Eventing Association and was recently named the USEF Eventing Elite Program and Team Facilitator. In addition to serving on the Organizing Committee for MARS Great Meadow International, Max is a sought-after professional groom whose resume includes grooming at the Olympics and World Equestrian Games.

👤Equestrian photographer Erin Gilmore is based in Northern Virginia. With career highlights that range
from covering multiple Olympic Games to working with international equestrian brands and clients,
her work has been seen and published around the world. As a lifelong horse owner herself, Erin
understands the unique connection between horses and their riders, and works to capture it in standout
images that speak directly to every person she photographs.
