This clinic is organized and offered by Northern Virginia Working Equitation (NOVAWE), an Affiliate Organization of USA Working Equitation (USAWE) and focuses on Working Equitation (WE) obstacles as well as flat work exercises to improve execution.

Clinician Bio:
Allison Reed has nearly two decades of professional riding and teaching experience with roots in eventing. In 2018 she discovered Working Equitation and fell in love with the discipline for its promotion of horse and rider trust, and the correct foundations of equitation across all breeds/disciplines. She is currently working toward a L judge’s card in Working Equitation. A founding member of Northern Virginia Working Equitation (NOVAWE), Allison is a regular area WE clinician, known for her patience, trust, and attention to biomechanics and her physical therapy approach to help the horse find balance and flexibility. Allison is a formally trained teacher, holding a master’s degree in Elementary Education.
ABOUT THE CLINIC:
-Four 1.5 hour group sessions, starting at 9:00.
-Each group will have no more than 5 riders.
-Riders organized into Newbie, Intro, and Novice groups.
Choose the session that corresponds with the level that you want to ride.
Session Description:
-NEWBIE: This group is for riders/horses that have never done Working Equitation (WE) obstacles before. All work done in walk and trot. Riders generally attend at least one Newbie clinic before signing up for an Intro group.
-INTRO: This group is for riders/horses that have some experience with the WE obstacles. Work will be done in walk and trot.
-NOVICE: This group is for riders/horses that have experience with the WE obstacles. Work will be done at walk, trot, and canter.
-Office Fee is non-refundable. PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE OFFICE FEE. Your total should be $75!
-Auditors are welcome (no charge).
Bring your own water for your horse/pony. Please clean up around your trailer and take poop/hay home with you.

If you see "WAITLIST", then that means that all of the allocated slots have been taken. Please email Melissa Smith to be put on the Wait List along with the name of the group that you want to be in.
No refunds after Closing Day of 7/1/22..
You can either upload the three documents or email the three documents to Melissa Smith. If you have already sent in these documents to NOVAWE for 2022 from another event, you do not need to send them again.

- Restroom is in the main barn.
- Snacks and water will be available at the check in table. This will be in the breezeway between the barn and the Indoor.
-Bring your own water for your horse.
- Please leave your dogs at home.
- Auditors, please bring your own chair.

Administrative Information
Ride Time: You are signing up for a ride time, but there may be a slight change for unforeseen circumstances. The final group session time will be emailed on 7/5/22.
Trailer Direction: Follow GPS to the farm. Please park in the grassy field next to the outdoor arena which will be on your right when you come down the driveway. NOVAWE has not rented the outdoor, so please do not use it. 
Change Policy: Changes are not permitted.
Refund Policy: Refunds are permitted before registration closes.-
