Tara Trout is Senior Vice President, Shareholder and Director of the Farm and Equine Division of AHT. Tara has spent most of her life in the Middleburg, Virginia area competing, teaching and participating as an avid enthusiast in several equestrian disciplines the area has to offer.

Tara has earned the prestigious Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance designation (CAPI) from the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and CHUBB.

Tara has been named to the 2018 Elite Women in Insurance list by Insurance Business Publication. This list includes 95 of the most trailblazing women who are raising the bar on gender equality in the insurance industry.
