Organizer Notes

No refunds of any class/show fees will be made after the closing date, including for class cancellations due to acts of God, acts of terrorism, inclement weather, and/or other emergencies. If a scratch occurs and can be filled from the waitlist, the original rider’s fees will be refunded.
IEO Schooling Show Rules:
- Any Class can be combined or split at the organizer’s discretion.
- All classes will be held in the large 20 x 60 arena.
- ALL COMPETITORS, GROOMS, TRAINERS, ETC. MUST WEAR current ASTM/SEI approved safety HELMETS AT ALL TIMES WHILE MOUNTED.
- We will use the current USDF Intro Tests, USEF Tests, USEA Tests, and Western Dressage tests found on USEF website.
- Based on USEF rule GR302 Cruelty to and Abuse of a Horse: Any action(s) against a
horse by a competitor or an exhibitor, which are deemed excessive by a judge, or show management, in the competition ring or anywhere on the competition grounds may be punished by official warning, elimination, or other sanctions which may be deemed appropriate by the show committee. Anyone observing what they feel is abusive conduct not in the best interest of the horse should report it to the show manager. Reports will remain anonymous.
- A horse is limited to 4 tests/classes at a show. Same horse/rider combo is limited to 3 tests/classes. Horses may only be shown at 2 consecutive levels at any one show (i.e. intro/training, training/first, first/second). Even if the horse has 2 different riders this rule still applies (i.e. Rider A does training level and Rider B can only do intro or first level), with the exception of musical freestyle, pas de deux, and quadrille.

- Entries must be RECEIVED by the declared closing date. The closing date for each show is posted with show information, usually 2 weeks before the show date. All Entries are to be accepted on a “first come, first served” basis.

Fully complete entries receive priority. To be considered complete, entries must include:

1) a completely filled out and legible entry form,
2) copy of current Coggins (unless on file) **Horse's name on Coggins must match horse's name on entry form**
3) signed release form- use link to USEF waiver and fill in Diamond 7/IEO for facility
4) correct fees.

In the event of an over-subscribed show, the following priorities will be applied:

Members of the IEO will have priority on the waitlist provided their complete entry was received before the closing date. Members will be placed on waitlist in the order their entry was received.

Nonmembers having complete entries will be placed on the waitlist immediately following the members, also in the order the nonmember entries were received.

Incomplete entries or those received after the closing date will be placed on the waiting list as final priority.

If a scratch occurs and can be filled from the waitlist, the original rider’s fees will be refunded.

A LATE FEE OF $20.00 PER HORSE/RIDER COMBINATION WILL BE CHARGED FOR ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. If the late fee is not included with the entry, then it must be paid before receiving packet, if entry is accepted.
