Rider Assessment Clinic

Dr. Joanna Frantz is a contracted Physical Therapist for the USEF international teams, specifically the US Para-Equestrian Dressage Team. As one of the few equestrian physical therapists with advanced certification as a USEF Human Sports Science Medicine Practitioner, her program is designed to help riders correct faulty movement patterns, prevent injury, and optimize performance in the saddle.

Clinic Overview & Pricing
- Structure: Each individual session is 1 hour (one-on-one with Joanna and Lisa or your current trainer).
- Day 1: Mounted observation followed by an unmounted assessment.
- Day 2: Unmounted exercise review and treatment, followed by a mounted session (ideally during a lesson).
- Includes: Comprehensive evaluation and treatment (mounted and unmounted), personalized follow-up plan, video/picture analysis, and a customized home exercise routine.

Single-day sessions or additional unmounted follow-ups can also be accommodated.
Individual Rider Assessments: Initial assessment is performed on your horse. Your private session will be an hour one-on-one with Joanna and your trainer if available. Evaluation and treatment will be both mounted and unmounted. You will receive an individualized assessment, treatment, and follow-up plan. You will receive reviews of your ride with video and picture analysis as well as a home exercise prescription to improve your performance.

If you have worked with Joanna in the past and she has already done your initial assessment, then you sign up for the "day two" option. Otherwise you sign up for the initial assessment "day one".

Due to the personal nature of the sessions, auditors not permitted.
