Fine Idea Farm welcomes Larisa Quirk for the first in our series of fall/winter cavaletti and gridwork clinics, suitable for horses of all disciplines! Lessons are private or semiprivate. Please let us know of your/your horse's experience level, preference for private/semi, timing preferences, and if there's a friend you'd like to ride with.

More about Larisa:

Larisa Quirk is an exciting, upcoming young professional with 19 years of extensive experience with horses. Not only has she trained and competed in eventing, dressage, hunters, jumpers, and equitation, she also fox hunts, rides side saddle and bare back, as well as bridle less. Her compassion for the horse led her to volunteer at Days End Farm Horse Rescue, where she earned a position as a volunteer trainer, and a rider on their drill team for exhibitions. There she rescued a thoroughbred mare, whom she retrained and showed at preliminary level eventing, second level dressage, and bridle less jumping exhibitions. Larisa also worked for Damascus Equine Associates and Gil Porter Cutting Horses.

To further her knowledge, she serves as an assistant trainer to Felicitas von Neumann-Cosel. Under her tutelage she has become a beautiful and effective rider with a much deeper understanding for horse and rider bio mechanics, and how it effects the horse in all disciplines. She has become an eloquent teacher with a great ability to connect with both student and horse. Her passion is to combine her experience of working over poles, jumps, and on hills, together with dressage work to help the eventing community and all riders alike. “To be a pretty rider, you must first be pretty effective!”
