Event Details
We are so excited for the Mustang Only Open Show! All horses must be a BLM or USFS mustang with proof of freezemark number, brand photo, or microchip information. Negative Coggins required, stabling available. Horse and rider should be turned out properly and professionally, schooling attire allowed, helmets required for ALL ridden classes.
Organizer Notes
Stabling available for the weekend and/or the day. Stall MUST be reserved prior to the event. Shavings additional if needed and must be reserved prior to the event.
Same horse may be used for different handlers/riders.
Awards: see attached prize list for more details.
Incentives: Please make entry note if you and/or your mustang qualify for the following incentives. You and your mustang may qualify for more than one. If not noted on entry you won't be awarded points for incentive awards.
Newly Gentled: Picked up between October 1, 2025- June 15, 2026- proof must be provided
Green Mustang: Any mustang that is showing for the first time
Green Rider: Any rider that is showing for the first time
Overall Youth: Any competitor ages 17 and younger at time of show
Overall Adult: Any competitor ages 18 and older at time of show
Overall Burro
Silver Rider: Any rider that is 55 & over at time of show
Former MD mustang: Any mustang that has competed in the 2021-2025 MD TIP Challenges or Extravaganzas
