Riding The Pace - Unmounted Session
6 pm - 7:30 pm
Ride the Pace: Open Country Training Series Workshop
Riding well across the country is not just about speed, it’s encompasses pace, efficiency, and good judgment. The ability to travel forward while maintaining balance, conserving your horse's energy, and covering ground smoochly is a skill that defines experienced riders in the hunt field, hunter paces, and on cross- country courses.
This Ride the Pace unmounted session will demystify meters per minute, share tips and tricks to using the “big yellow watch” , and introduce how this knowledge is applied to both the cross country portion in the short format as well as the endurance portion in a traditional 3 day event.
