Human and Equine Biomechanics Clinic Seminar
Event Details
This session to go over the basics of rider biomechanics. This session will be an introduction to biomechanics which is the science of ‘how and why riders move’. We’ll go over some basic anatomy, to help you understand your body, and then how it all ties together when you ride on the flat and jump. Dr Wilkins’ particular area of interest is ‘rider movement strategies’ - this means exploring the different ways (yes there’s no one right way!) that riders move, and the ‘why’ behind it. The talk will include videos to help bring concepts to life. Whether you’re looking to understand why certain things work for you, or you want to improve an area of your riding, you’ll come away understanding a bit more about your body. There will be plenty of time for Q&As.
Heavy Appetizers and Beverages will be served!
