BEVERLY HUNTER/JUMPER SHOW SERIES - FALL 2026

Welcome to the Fall Series. Fall 1 and Fall 2 are one-day, unrated shows recognized by VHSA and BHSA. The Circuit Finals on November 21 closes the 2026 Beverly Circuit.

We have a split venue format:
Hunters will be in the Wofford arena by the main barn.
Jumpers will be in the Grand Prix arena by the polo barns. There is stabling on both sides of the venue.
Classes 50, 51, and 52 - our Poles, Cross Rails, and Small Verticals trio - will be in the indoor arena.

UPCOMING SHOWS

Fall Series Dates:
- Saturday, September 12, 2026: Fall 1. Entries close midnight Thursday, September 10.
- Saturday, October 10, 2026: Fall 2. Entries close midnight Thursday, October 8.
- Saturday, November 21, 2026: Beverly Circuit Finals. Entries close [CLOSING DATE - TBC].

Also on the fall calendar:
- October 3-4, 2026: Beverly Fall Classic, a USEF-rated competition for hunters and jumpers. Entries close Tuesday, September 22 - earlier than our local pattern, because a rated competition closes earlier. The Fall Classic has its own prize list and its own entry page.

NEW FOR FALL: THE TRI-COUNTY FEEDS GRASS HUNTER DERBY
TCF presents a hunter derby at 2' on Beverly's fully irrigated grass derby field, over a course of natural hunt-field obstacles - coops, logs, brush, stone wall, post and rail. This is a derby with a real derby feel and inviting fences throughout.

The derby runs at Fall 1 (September 12) and Fall 2 (October 10).

The format is Hunt & Go. Each horse jumps a classic hunter round and then, without leaving the ring, goes straight into a handy round. Both phases are scored and added together. Every entry completes both rounds - a rail or a single refusal doesn't end your day. It's one continuous trip.

When it runs: the derby follows all hunter classes in the Wofford and runs before the poles classes in the indoor. Jumpers in the Grand Prix arena continue on their own schedule and are unaffected. We'll post the tentative order of classes on beverlyequestrian.com/competitors a few days before the show.

Entry: $50. The derby requires its own course built in the derby field, and the fee covers that work. Six ribbons. The Derby Champion and Reserve Champion each take home a prize package from Tri-County Feeds.

A few specifics worth knowing before you enter:
- Open to all horses and ponies, ridden by juniors, amateurs, or professionals
- Fences will not exceed 2' at any point, and there are no height options - showing in this class does not break Novice status and does not affect your eligibility for Limit Rider, Low Hunter, or Short Stirrup
- This is a Beverly class only. It is not VHSA or BHSA recognized and carries no VHSA or BHSA points. It does earn points toward the Beverly Development Pathway leaderboard
- Course diagrams posted at least an hour ahead, with a course walk offered
- You can add the derby on the day of the show at the show office - no change fee if you're already entered. Show-day entries close an hour before the class
- A minimum of five entries is required to hold the class and to award prizes. The count is taken an hour before the class, and we'll announce the call from the in-gate before the hunters finish. If the class doesn't hold, the $50 entry fee is refunded
- The derby field will be open for flatwork on show day at no charge. Come get your horse's feet on the grass. Jumping isn't permitted in the field outside the class, and the course isn't open for schooling - it has to be an equal test for everyone - but there's a course walk before the class

BEVERLY CIRCUIT FINALS - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2026

The Circuit Finals closes the 2026 Beverly Circuit and decides the season leaderboards.

Please note: the Circuit Finals is a Beverly Circuit competition only. It is not recognized by VHSA or BHSA and carries no VHSA or BHSA points. Points earned at the Finals count toward the Beverly Circuit leaderboards.

WHY YOU SHOULD USE A STRIDER ACCOUNT, NOT GUEST CHECKOUT

We strongly recommend that you create a free Strider account rather than checking out as a guest to enter this show. Beverly entries require documents - your negative Coggins, vaccination info, and a signed Beverly Release - and most riders add these in stages, swap a class, add a horse, or update an entry after the first submission. Guest entries can't be edited or have documents attached after they're submitted. That means a guest entry often stays incomplete, and we can't process it per the prize list until everything's in. Riders who enter as guests frequently come back to upload a Coggins or change a class, only to find Strider won't let them. Our prize list is clear: if you later send your documents or changes directly to the show secretary, you'll be charged a $35 fee. Save yourself the headache and create an account to save your documents for this and future shows at Beverly.

A Strider account is also required to move an entry to another date if a show is postponed or cancelled. See the Postponement or Cancellation policy below.

ENTRIES. ALL entries must be submitted online. Otherwise, all non-Strider, incomplete, or late entries are subject to a mandatory $35 administration fee ("Admin Fee"). The Closing Date for all entries is midnight on the Thursday before the show ("Closing Date"). Attach your negative coggins, vaccination information, and signed waiver ("Docs") electronically to your entry on Strider by the Closing Date; otherwise, an Admin Fee will apply. If you email your Docs to the show secretary to complete your entry before the Closing Date, an Admin Fee (for a non-Strider entry) will apply for non Strider entry information.

HEALTH REQUIREMENT
All horses must provide proof of Flu/Rhino vaccination within the last 6 months to enter the grounds.
- Vet receipt, OR
- United States Equestrian Federation vaccination form, OR
- A self-certification form. A link to the form is on the website

Beverly requires proof of vaccination for every horse on the grounds at every show, usually a vaccination certificate or a receipt from your vet listing the vaccines and dates. We know not everyone keeps these on hand, and we don't want that to keep you from competing. Please note that as with all personal documents, we cannot keep this information on file for you. Please create a Strider account to save this documentation to your entry and for future entries.

All horses on the grounds, including non-competing horses, must have a current negative Coggins within 12 months.

CHANGES. Changing classes on the day of the show incurs no change fees. DO NOT submit show-day class add/drops to the show secretary. If a class change results in a credit on the show day, it can be used towards other fees AT THAT SHOW. A same day show class credit does not result in a REFUND absent special circumstances, such as a class being canceled outside of show management's control, and then, only upon email request to the show secretary at bevshowsec@gmail.com.

SCRATCHES. Entries must be scratched on Strider before the Closing Date to receive any refund. Refunds on or before the Closing Date are made less the $10 office fee, which is not refundable. Any refunds after the Closing Date are subject to a $50 Late Scratch Fee per entry, and stall fees are not refundable after the Closing Date.

CREDITS. Credits are not automatic and must be requested by email (bevshowsec@gmail.com) within four (4) days after the show. Credits are valid only after the exhibitor receives written acknowledgement from the show office. To use an approved credit at a future show, exhibitors must email the show office with the acknowledgement at least two (2) days before the show's closing date for registration instructions. Exhibitors must enter at least one class; approved credits may then be applied to additional eligible class fees as requested by the competitor. Any credit not used within one (1) year of the date of the original show will expire.

STRIDER allows payment by credit card, Venmo, and PayPal. Any additional class fees can be settled at the show by check, cash, Venmo, or Zelle on the show day. No credit cards are accepted at the show.

NON COMPETE HORSES. Noncompeting horses register as such on our Strider platform and pay the $30 non-compete horse fee. It is important that we have a release and a coggins on file for every horse on the property. Again, we appreciate your understanding as bio security and safety is our top concern.

POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION ("UNCONTROLLABLE EVENT") POLICY. The Uncontrollable Event Policy applies only when conditions outside Beverly's control (weather, air quality/wildfire smoke, other emergencies) cause Beverly to postpone or cancel a show or a portion of it. It does not apply to a rider who chooses not to attend a show held as scheduled. In an uncontrollable event case, entries will be honored on the next or rescheduled date. Any competitor unable to attend this date - or whose classes are not held - will receive a full-value credit toward a future Beverly local show, covering all fees paid (entry, office, grounds, and stall fees). Credits are issued automatically; no request is required, and they are valid for one year from the original show date. To use the credit, the competitor must have used a Strider account (not a guest account) to enter the affected show and must email the Show Secretary at bevshowsec@gmail.com at least two days before that show's Closing Date - no need to re-enter or pay again. If a competitor prefers, they may email the Show Secretary to request a refund instead; in an uncontrollable event situation, the $50 Late Scratch Fee is waived and stall fees are refunded in full, with only the $10 office fee retained.

TRAILER & CAR PARKING
Hunters - Main Outdoor Arena

Trailer and car parking for the Main Arena (hunters) is located in the parking paddock immediately upon entering the main farm entrance. Cars must park along the fence line to leave room for trailers. There is no general parking in the courtyard by the main barn.

Jumpers - Grand Prix Arena
Address: 7150 Beverly Lane
Jumper competitors should follow signs to the Polo Arena and Grand Prix Arena. Trailer parking is located in the gravel parking lot adjacent to the Grand Prix Arena. The Show Office is located in the Polo Barns on the road leading to the Grand Prix Arena. Please follow posted signage and staff directions for unloading and parking. Do not drive or park on the rubber material immediately surrounding or in between the polo barns.

BACK NUMBERS & CLASS RIBBONS
Self-serve back numbers and regular class ribbons are available for riders with complete online entries submitted by midnight.

Pickup locations:
- Hunters: Main Ring alcove (Indoor Arena)
- Jumpers: Grand Prix coffee station

If anything is missing from your entry (signatures, documents, or payments) please stop by the Show Office in the Polo Barns before riding. Division awards and any additional ribbons will be available through the Show Office.

SHOW OFFICE
The main show office is located in the Polo Barns on the road leading to the Grand Prix Arena. There are auxiliary offices at each ring in the pick up locations noted above. Because we use our show management platform for entries, changes, and results, there is no need to visit the office unless you have late entry information or need to pay for extra rounds.

STABLING INFORMATION
When reserving stalls on Strider:
#4000 - Tent Stall - Dry ($75)
#4050 - Tent Stall - Weekend ($150)
#4250 - Shavings ($15/bag)
#4500 - Friday ticketed schooling and a weekend stall ($195)

- Available Friday 3pm through Saturday 6pm
- Does not include shavings, buckets, or turnout
- Must be reserved through Strider
- Available first come, first served

Refunds for unused stalls will only be granted if the stall can be relet to a waitlist and are subject to a $35 office fee.

COURSE MAPS, SCHEDULE & SHOW INFORMATION. All information about the schooling rounds including course maps, tentative schedule, and entry numbers by class can be accessed on the Competitor sub tab of the Show page on our website: www.beverlyequestrian.com/competitors. Class and schedule information is made available after Thursday and may be updated if additional entries are received up until the morning of the show.

EQUITATION CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
Equitation on the Flat. Open to juniors and adult amateurs to show at walk, trot, canter. Judges may ask for an additional test. To be split into juniors 14 and under, juniors 15-17, and adult amateurs if entries warrant.

Equitation over Fences. Open to Junior and Adult Amateur riders on horses or ponies not entered in a pony division. Judged on position, effectiveness of aids, consistency of pace, and overall style. Fences set at 2'6". Riders may not cross enter into classes with fences exceeding 3'. Division may be combined with the Child/Adult Hunter Division.

Long Stirrup Equitation. Open to riders 13 years and older. Judged on equitation. Riders may not cross enter into classes where they would jump over 18 inches. Courses may be trotted.

Student Equitation (BHSA Only). Open to riders in their first or second year of showing over fences 2 feet or higher. Judged on equitation. Courses may be trotted. Consists of two (2) flat classes and one (1) over fences class. This is a different format than short stirrup and long stirrup and cannot be combined with either. If there is only one entry we will still run the class, but it will not count for points under BHSA rules, which require two riders for a class to count.

Beverly Mini Medal - 2'3". Open to junior and amateur riders. To be shown over a shortened equitation course at inviting heights appropriate for developing competitors. Judged on the rider's position, accuracy, effectiveness, and overall rideability. The course will introduce basic technical questions such as changes of direction, bending lines, and long approaches appropriate for this level. Riders may be asked to return for a flat phase or a brief work-off at the judge's discretion. Martingales permitted over fences.

Beverly Jumper Seat Equitation - 2'9". Open to junior and amateur riders. To be shown over a jumper-style equitation course at a forward, balanced pace. Judged on the rider's position, accuracy, effectiveness, and overall rideability. The course will include technical elements appropriate for developing jumper riders, such as bending lines, related distances, and rollback turns. Riders may be asked to return for a work-off at the judge's discretion. Faults will be considered in the overall equitation score. May be ridden in standard jumper tack. Martingales permitted.

VHSA Children's Medal and VHSA Adult Medal. Open only to regular members of the VHSA. Over fences, riders compete over a regulation equitation course at 3 feet. In each class at least the top four riders must perform an additional test. See VHSA Rule 15. For flat medals, riders must show at all working gaits with additional requirements and test. See VHSA Rule 14 and Sections 7-10 of Rule 28.

HUNTER CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
Warm Up. Not judged. A horse/rider combination may participate in one or more warm-up class(es) at each show at management's discretion. Warm up classes may be discontinued at any time. Riders must let the starter know upon entering the ring if the round is a warm-up.

Hunter Pleasure Pony. Open to ponies ridden by Juniors. This division may only be combined with the Adult Hunter Pleasure Horse and/or the Junior Hunter Pleasure Horse.

Adult Hunter Pleasure Horse. Open to horses ridden by Adult Amateurs or Professionals. Horses may cross enter into another Pleasure Division at the same show.

Junior Hunter Pleasure Horse. Open to horses ridden by Juniors.

Short Stirrup Hunter. Open to riders 12 years and under. Riders may not cross enter into any VHSA division except pleasure and equitation on the flat. No rider may ride more than two mounts. Fences are 18 inches. Courses may be trotted. VHSA only.

Low Hunter. Open to horses and ponies. No restrictions on riders. This division may be combined with Limit Rider Hunter.

Limit Rider Hunter. Open to horses and ponies ridden by Juniors/Adult Amateurs. Riders may not cross enter into any class with fences 2'6" or higher. Horses and ponies may cross enter. This division may be combined with Low Hunter.

Children's Hunter. Open to horses ridden by Juniors. This division may only be combined with the Adult Amateur Division. Minimum jump height is 2'6".

Adult Amateur Hunter. Open to horses and ponies not ridden in a Pony Division, ridden by Adult Amateurs. This division may only be combined with the Children's Hunter Division. Minimum jump height is 2'6".

Thoroughbred Hunter. Open to registered Thoroughbreds and horses eligible to be registered with The Jockey Club. Fences 2'6" or 2'9". No restriction on riders. Thoroughbred Hunter may only be combined with the Working Hunter and/or Green Hunter.

Green Hunter. Open to horses in their 1st or 2nd year of showing over fences 2'6" or higher. Fences 2'6" or 2'9". This division may only be combined with Thoroughbred Hunter and/or Working Hunter.

Working Hunter. Open to all horses, and ponies not entered in a Pony Division. This division may only be combined with Thoroughbred Hunter and/or Green Hunter. Fences 2'6", 2'9", or 3'. Entries must jump a minimum height of 2'9" for BHSA points to count.

Tri-County Feeds Grass Hunter Derby. Beverly class only - see the full description above. Fences will not exceed 2'. Hunt & Go format, two phases jumped consecutively. Six ribbons. Five entries required to hold the class.

All hunter classes are judged on performance, including way of going, jumping style, and soundness. Manners and suitability are emphasized in the pony, children's and adult amateur divisions. All equitation classes are judged on hands, seat, guidance and control.

JUMPER CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
Divisions are recognized by name, height, and rider eligibility in the classes according to applicable BHSA/VHSA rules.

Unjudged trips are allowed at the jumper class fee, and then only after a judged trip, if any, in the same class.

Ties are not decided in a jump-off but decided by time in the first round.

Poles/Cross Rail/Small Verticals (Participation). Open to horses and ponies. No cross entry with classes at 75cm and above. These are unrecognized classes and carry no VHSA or BHSA points.

Pre-Novice Jumper 2' (previously called Puddle Jumper), now recognized by VHSA. Open to horses and ponies. No cross entry with classes 1.0m and above, including riders. VHSA calls these classes "pre-novice"; BHSA calls them "puddle jumpers."

Novice Jumper 2'3". No cross entry with classes at 1.0m and above.

Novice Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper 2'3". Open to horses and ponies ridden by children and adult amateurs. No cross entry with classes at 1.0m and above.

Low Jumper 2'9". May be combined with Thoroughbred Jumper.

Thoroughbred Jumper 2'9". Open to Thoroughbreds registered with the Jockey Club, or for BHSA/VHSA points eligible to be registered. May be combined with Low Jumper.

Open Jumper 3'. No restriction on horses/ponies or riders. May be combined with Child/AA Jumper.

Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper 3'. Open to horses and ponies ridden by juniors and adult amateur riders. May be combined with Schooling and/or Modified Jumper.

Schooling/Modified Jumper. No restriction on horses/ponies or riders. May be combined with Child/AA Jumper.

Morning jumpers: there are no optimum time classes (Table IV.1) for morning jumpers. These run under Table II.1, Table II(2)(b) or Table II(2)(d). Note that USEF requires classes under .90m for child/adult amateurs to run under optimum time; the local show does not follow that format for the jumper classes, which start at .80m.

Jumper tables: Table II(2)(c) has been replaced with Table II(2)(d).

RULES & REQUIREMENTS. The applicable prize list on the Beverly website is controlling. BHSA/VHSA rules and division specifications apply. BHSA/VHSA points will be awarded to current members only. Membership forms are available from the show secretary. Membership in BHSA or VHSA is not required to compete.

Please note that Beverly classes - the Poles, Cross Rails and Small Verticals trio, the Tri-County Feeds Grass Hunter Derby, the Beverly Mini Medal, the Beverly Jumper Seat Equitation, and all classes at the Circuit Finals - are not VHSA or BHSA recognized and carry no VHSA or BHSA points. They do earn Beverly Circuit leaderboard points.
