Findlay University - Kate Fenner Clinic - Use Science in the Saddle To Ride and Train Your Horse

Is your horse confused? Need to fix your horse? Need consistent relaxation, focus, frame, and softness. Easily teach and ride your horse better at any level. Learn to teach and ride your horse based on how horses learn from Kate Fenner, Eqiune Scientist (BEqSc (Hons), Charles Sturt University), PhD candidate at University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science in horse training and welfare, Equestrian Australia and British Horse Society coach, North American Western Dressage Association PRO, and John and Josh Lyons Certified Trainer. Kate has ridden, coached, and competed in Asia at the Rolex international level (where she won her classes in Dressage, show jumping, and polo) and she has successfully competed in, and taught and trained English and Western Dressage, and Western and pleasure riding, and Working Equitation in Australia, Europe, USA, and Asia.
She knows, and she teaches you, how horses learn and how to use this knowledge to systematically and humanely communicate - clearly, easily, and effectively - with your horse when riding or when training new behavior on the ground and under saddle. The result is training that is immediately effective, and a calmer, lighter, more obedient, better going and safer horse. The methods are very EMPOWERING for riders and horses of all levels, ages, stages and disciplines. Riders learn not only WHAT to do to very easily teach and communicate with a horse in training on the ground and under saddle, but WHY it works. The rider also takes home the knowledge of HOW the improvements and changes have taken place and also the knowledge and skill to keep improving their horse’s responses after the lessons. It is applicable to any horse you will ever ride.
Kate is one of the few coaches in the world extensively trained by the world’s leading equine clinical neuroscientists, behaviorists and ethologists, Drs. Andrew McLean (founder of the Australian Equine Behavior Center) and Dr. Paul McGreevey (ethologist at the University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science), co-founders of the International Society for Equitation Science and authors of the world famous book, "Equitation Science".
